I've seen some people complain about Cole as a combatant so I figured I'd offer up what I've learned in making him useful, because indeed, he CAN be very useful if you use him right.įirstly, I've gathered all of this information on Nightmare mode so what you read here should be applicable regardless of what difficulty you are on.Ĭole is a very interesting character and while he can be one of your best DPS, you have to consider a few more factors with him than you do with Sera and Varric, whose ranged combat style makes them a bit easier to meld with any party composition.
